EV route planner evaluation
Evidence for educational evaluation: station coverage, connector compatibility, energy assumptions, and data provenance.

What each route plan calculates
- Road routeRequests distance, duration, and a polyline from Google Directions, then finds stations within the configured corridor.
- CompatibilityA station needs at least one connector supported by the car and must pass status and access rules.
- Energy and safetyUses the car's energy consumption, battery reserve, and arrival battery target.
- Charging timeCapped by the car's maximum DC power and uses an estimated taper above 50% and 80% state of charge.
- ComparisonShows driving-only time, charging time, total journey time, and the added time.

Result scope
Coverage tests and charging times are educational estimates, not confirmation of real-time station availability.
